Ponce
Inlet is home to the oldest working lighthouse in America. Bring your
bikes and enjoy a nice pleasant ride down the beach to the Lighthouse.
After a climb to the top of the lighthouse, enjoy lunch at the Lighthouse
Restaurant across the street. Return to Harbour Village via the bike path
down Peninsula Dr. through a beautiful, quiet residential area with
minimal traffic |

uncrowded, clean beaches in Ponce Inlet. Beach access can be gained either
at the new and exclusive Harbour Village Beach Club, or at the Volusia
County Park just 200 yards north on A1A, or. The pelicans are local
residents that will make your beach time even more enjoyable, and a sign
of our healthy beaches and clean water. |

"Dr
Beach"
"Dr. Beach," issues a ranked list of the top 10 beaches in the country
each year. He judges the beaches on aesthetics, amenities, safety, noise,
wildlife, cleanliness, sand quality and swimming.
For the year 2007, Lighthouse Point Park in Ponce Inlet took the number
9 spot on the list
The park is located at the southern tip of the barrier island
approximately 10 miles south of Daytona Beach. It is a local favorite for
swimming, sunning, surfing and fishing.
Admission is $3.50 per car and the park is open from 6:00 AM to 9:00 PM |
